Default Does anyone own a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-U20?

If so then I am wondering how it is? Also is the body stainless steel or is it just plastic?

thanks

The U20 is a very nice little critter indeed.

Solid construction, although I believe it is primarily plastic. It has a nice matte brushed silver metalic look and feels like metal--not cheap or flimsy feeling at all.

So far (two days) I am favorably impressed with its ease of use, image quality--considering its size.

White balance is satisfactory. Much as you might expect from a P&S camera.

Auto focus seems to work ok. If there is enough ambient light for my old eyes to focus on the subject, then the auto focus can handle the job. In total darkness, it is hit or miss as to what the auto focus will lock onto when the flash fires.

Power on to first shot time is realy fast--slide the lens door open and before you can frame your shot, it is ready. Cycle time is also quite quick.

For an aux, take-it-everywhere camera, its a definite keeper.

Thanks for the reply. I just bought the U10 for the time being, and love the camera for what it is.

thanks again
