Hi

i just bought a sony p200 and i love. best digital camera ever bought.

but i have a problem with the screen . when i compare it with my (rubbish) canon a300. the p200 screen is a bit motiony ( if you know what i mean).

the camera is still on coverplan so i can send it back for a refund. ANY IDEAS?

im not sure, its kind of different than my a300 or canon s1 is. i mean with the canon, if you move it left and right(a bit fast), you see the picture on the lcd as if your looking at a camcorders lcd butmy p200 isnt like this. the subject on the lcd moves along (if youknow what i mean). however, i dont think itsa technical problem.are all sonys like this, or is it just my p200?

I also have a P200. If by the new word motiony you mean there is a split 1/10 of a second screen delay that is noticeable if you pan the camera left and right real fast? Then yes there is a slight delay. This is probably because the large 7.2MP image has to pass through the core chip and be processed in order to be displayed properly. It also could be the type of LCD that was used.
