Nice Shots Griff. I really like the first sample shot.

Thanks for the comments Whisperin. The W1 is a great camera and I have been able to take much better photos than with my old digi-cam. Now with Summer here hopefully we'll be able to see so more areas. Let's keep 'em coming.

Hi Dick,

I'm afraid us sassenachs are enduring terrible weather, jumpers and coats for us at the moment. :shock:I'm off to Le Mans, leaving this afternoon(the 24hour car race in France) so hopefully will have some more shots to post when I get back!!

Hi Juice,

Thanks for the comment. Hope to see more of your well taken shots soon.

Bye for now.

Mark.

Well, in the beginig i was more than satisfied, and W1 is a great pocket camera, but nothing else... Now, i'm want more from my camera and i'm planing to by dSLR (maybe 350D)...

Why not satisfied? Well, cos the images i get directly from my camera are awful, colors are pure, a lot of noise... +slow focusing...

Conclusion, it's a good camera for family photos, but I want much more from mine camera! That's why i'm not satisfied...

Did you have to do a lot of photoshop or something to these pics because the images look pretty darn good to me.

Well, i don't remember very good, but i allways do levels, contrast, color managment... bu the images look very good when they are small, but i they real size, they are not so good... not god at all

Maybe i'm just asking to much from a compact digital camera.
