I just took 2 of the same photos in my kitchen, one with a T7 and one with a W7. What an amazing difference in noise and flash power!!! I assure you that these pictures were not modified in any way aside from resizing them to 1024X768 so the filesize would be small enough to fit here. Both cameras were set to P mode, auto ISO and default settings.

First, here is the T7:

Well now, errm, the results speak for themselves now don't they? I guess the T7 is one of those "Outdoor" cameras...

How do the W7 and P200 compare with respect to flash quality and coverage? I assume the P200 issuperior in terms of less red eye - I was wondering about the general area of coverage and quality.

CyberShotNut:

Thanks for posting the P200 comparison. I wonder if you could also answer the following question since you have both cameras. Is there any difference in the ability of the P200 and the W7 to take low light pics or are they about the same?

Aside from the flash being slightly weaker on the P200, they both perform about the same in low light which isn't surprising considering that they have the same lens and CCD.

I would even say STEVE should put this type of side-by-side picture comparison of all the cameras he reviews.

I think it would make it much easier & faster to compare pictures.
