3x zoom....

With 2.7 tele lens....

I am not sure if i am going to keep the tele lens or not. It only works from 2.4x to 3x zoom. It also appears the pictures are not as sharp with it. I'll keep fooling around with it and get some better pictures up soon.

I was looking to get one but I'd like to see a few more pictures. How severe is vignetting?

With the tele on it is severe from wide to 2.3x. Once 2.4-3x is reached it is fine.

These were taken for zoom display. They have been resized with Imageready for web posting (very low quality to decrease file size). These were taken in very low light in p mode. I'll get some more higher quality shots this weekend in better light.

Juice,

Here's my review on the camera;
http://www.digitalcamerabasics.com/sonydscw5.htm

As far as lenses go, I've had two emails from people saying they got the tele lens when buying the camera and were displeased with it, so, I would probably suggest to folks to skip that lens - the camera takes good shots as it is, though... you just have to stick with the 3X zoom.
