I just got an H1 today and I'll have to say, I'm pretty impressed with it so for. I've heard so many negative things about the Sony lens on it, but so far the pictures I've taken with it look great. Another nice thing about this camera is that it works very well with my VCL-HGD1758 1.7x telephoto lens I use on my F717 which makes it 20.4x optical zoom!

Here's a shot of the moon that I just took with the H1 and VCL-HGD1758 1.7x telephoto lens.

Is that just cropped, or resized?
I was wondering how much of the frame was actuallyfilled by the moon...

The picture of the moon is a 100% crop and it was taken on a tripod.

Can you zoom the VCL-DH1758 in & out? Or does it only focus properly at

full zoom?

Thanks

It focuses fine throughout the zoom range, but there is alot of vignetting (dark corners)from wide angle to a little over half zoom.

I'm still pretty impressed with the photos I've gotten from my H1. Here is a shot of my cat in the backyard. No modification has been done to the pic except for resizing it to 1024x768.
