My 5X Sony F717 should have Binocular power. How can I add magnifiers/doublers?

Since the lens is fixed to the camera, you cannot add a doubler or change lenses. You can, however, buy a telephoto attachment which screws on to the front of your lens.

I do not know anything about the quality of the various telephoto attachments, but I have bought a Raynox wide angle attachment made for the 717 and it works beautifully. I bought it mail order through Amazon.com. They have a nice money back guarantee.

I bought the Sony VCL-DH1758 58mm tele lens , it should work on my F717 , V3 and H1. You can buy it for a round $100.00 on line.

I also bought the Sony VCL-DH1757 58mm tele lens and sm very pleased with the results. It is heavy and concentrate on keeping it still and you will get very good results. It is a quality lens.
