yep the H1 takes amazing zoom photos,
the full 48x zoom is great for seeing subjects that aren't visible to the naked eye, but the quality usually gets a little fuzzy. I use it mainly as a replacement for binoculars!

I think the 24x at 3megapixel setting is the best also... this combo usually produces the best results in my opinion w/ the H1.

Here's one of mine at 24x more or less ( I previously posted this as 48x but realized just today that the full zoom of my H1 is at 24x only with digital zoom included w/o additional lenses and using precision zoom instead of smart zoom ... so sorry for the mistake :sad:
