I'm a beginner in digital camera and not a PRO...But to prove that DSC-w5 is a good Camera Pls see my attached picture...These are all original and not edited..

Question:

1. How can u compare it with Canon Digital camera or any other brand?

TIPS.

Read the manual regarding all the functions and study.

It's not a point and shoot camera..but has more features than any compact at it size..

Do not afraid to experiment...

nice one mate

I too own the dscw5 and i think its an awesome camera, and no i dont have problems with blur or darkened images with no flash.

When i made the decision to buy this cam i looked to what steve had to say about it. All positive.

Now i own it and look on these forums with ppl tht knock the camera with the idea that the pics suck "it cant be me bcse i no everything it must be the camera so i wil tel the world this is a bad camera.

Very nice shots btw mate

Cheers

Here are the 3 ( thats right...3 ) good shots i made with my W5. I took over 500 with it and I do know what i'm doing by the way. The only indoor shot was hand held at 400 iso, full zoom with Sony tele converter. All of my indoor people shots had red eye when the flash was used...ALL OF THEM. See Steve's review for this issue. The W5 is great outdoors but for inside think again. If you like having to fix every single photo for red eye...the W5 IS for you!

Thanks for the comments..These are only few of my favorite shot...I will post some indoors shot soon..

This shot was taken inside a carnival..I use slower shutter to capture the falls.Without a tripod..anyway this is an indoor shot.
