Having just used my friend's DSC-P5 on holiday I though I would erase the Memory card before i gave it him back!

However i formated the memory stick by right clicking the card in the card reader and clicking on FORMAT, so it now shows FORMAT ERROR C:13:01.

How do I now go on to format it to work in the camera?

Thanks

Put the mem stick in the camera and set the dial to the setup mode, hit the down arrow once and over to format.

Thanks I have just tried that and display shows a set up menu, when you remove card & re-insert it screen changes to blue and says memory stick access i then hit the down key but format error and code c:13:01 still shows up with a blinking sound!

Any other ideas?
