I wonder whats the difference between MPEG4 and MPEG-VX? If I use a memory stick duo pro 2GB, how long time can I take a movie with the best quality with a MPEG4 and with a MPEG-VX. The Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 uses MPEG-VX so I'm a bit confused about that. Want a camera who take good picture an d movie to look at a TV. Hope someone can help me. Thanks

Vx consumes like 1MB per second. Since you have 2GB, it won't be a problem. There are samples of VX quality on steves site, look at it, and considder if its good enough for you.

The MPEG VX Fine uses 4xmore memory per second than the MPEG4 and are about the same quality. With my 1GB Memory stick pro duo I get a little over 12 mins in VX Fine mode with my P100 and I get a little over 46 minsin MPEG4 30fps mode on my M1.
