First of all I don't consider my self to be a pro in digital photography, but I really get confused whenever I see the review's for the Sony dsc-t5, I keep seeing how everyone says that it has low quality pictures!? Is that really important for an amateur like me?? all I want is a decent point and shot camera that I can always carry in my pocket.

I guess the Canon has better quality from what i see on the net… but I don't know y I am attracted to the Sony more … is it worth it to sacrifice the size of the Sony for the quality of the Canon since I will be carrying my camera in my pocket most of the time.

Any opinions ?

thanks in advance :?

I'm pretty sure I'd take the SD450 over the T-5, but not over the upcoming;

Sony DSC-N1
Sony DSC T-9
Sanyo VPC-C6
Pentax Optio S6

This is the group from which I'M trying to choose.

For my "serious" camera, I'm gonna wait for the next version of the Canon S2 IS.
