DSC-T9 Versus DSC-N1

It'll be between these and the upcoming Sanyo VPC-C6 for my carry around camera.

Actually, I think Steve carries around a Sanyo C5.

Any opinions yet, or must we wait?

The biggest advantage of the Sanyo C6 is the 5X optical zoom. And I forgot if the N1 has optical stabilization.

The Sony DSC-N1 is out!

It's now down to the C6 vs. T-9 with a definite lean towards the C6 for ergonomic reasons and the 5X zoom. Aside from the cool swivel of the LCD, I really like the fact that the LCD is fully protected when the camera is off...no worrying about cracked LCD's. I still prefer the smaller size of the T-9, though.

The main reasons I narrowed things down to these two cameras is that I don't want to have to deal with extending lenses. I'd prefer to avoid the possibilty of mechanical breakdowns, not to mention dust problems.
