I got this small camera a while ago but never were able to take great pictures. Especially in low lights. In low lights what would be the optimum setting to take good pictures. Some of my pictures comes out ghostly and yellowish. I know this is caused by low lights and shaking. So I ma taking pictures with a small tripod. But what would be a good program setting to take the pictures in low light, fast snap time, and avoid the yellow? Thanx

Sounds like a white balance problem. Try changing the white balance to something like incandescent or flash.

Isn't the saturation setting suppose to take care of the yellow.

No, saturation enhances or mellows out the colors. You're getting a yellow cast because you are shooting indoors with such lighting. The white balance should help resolve the problem.

The camera has a auto white balance setting should I select that or actually go through and white balance manually?

For your indoor shots you won't want to use auto white balance, especially since you are noticing a yellowish cast. Some cameras are better than others in the auto mode. Try using the "incandescent" setting. You should be able to see the effect live on your LCD screen.
