My daughters camera had an accident last week. The accident caused the top rotating knob to fall off or pop off and was subsequently lost. The camera still functions normally but it is an inconvenience at this point. Can anyone steer me to a parts center that may order this part? She is on a limited college budget as am I. Thanks

I'd suggest Ebay. You can even find 'parts' cameras for resonably cheap.. Maybe just phone Sony and see what that part runs to give you an idea.

To take this another step further, often on ebay you can find a nonworking camera. As long as the part that you're looking for is not why the camera isn't working, you may be able to get the piece that otherwise may not be available. You'll also have extra spare parts for future accidents.

That's what I was suggesting as a 'parts' camera.. just like when people buy 'parts' cars. :-) Gotta love it when people don't throw out items of value to others!!
