Beginning about 3 months ago, about half the timewhen I turn on my P93-A in the "camera" or auto mode I have a black screen, that is, I can't see an image on the screen. The indicators are still on the lcd screen; there is just no image.

I have sent the camera in twice to Sony repair and they say nothing is wrong.

Am I missing something simple? Could this be an image sensor problem?

Thank you for any insigt you might have. JILL

Sounds like a bad CCD if the pictures you take with it are black.

They are. I can't understand why they haven't caught this problem. I am really frustrated.

Thank you for your help. JILL
