i was thiking about waiting to buy the r1. i ended up wth panas fz30. do you like the cam???

Hi Ken,

You can't go wrong with that Leica glass, can you.

Regarding my R-1: I am still getting familiar with it. It functions in many ways better than the F-828 and S9000, regarding playback, iso settings, etc.

What I am doing at the moment is trying to determine if I can rely on what I see in the EVF or LCD, as I could with my F-828 and S9000.

Once Ibecome confident that I got the shot based onwhat I see on the R-1's EVF or LCD, I will then be abe to say if I like the R-1 or not.

This requires taking many shots and seeing how they lookon my monitor's screen.

So far so good.

yea thts great to hear.

i read some many good things about tht cam and the specs on paper look incredible. all the best.
