if a friend is playing guitar onstage how can i get a perfect freeze shot ?

it impossible with the DSC-P72 ?

i tried changing the ISO and nothing happened

thanx



ps : which camera can freeze at moving objects ?

With flash or with out?

With you can spot meter on a light part of the stage, shutter speed will rise,and thenfire the flash on the guitarist. Without it, lowering exposure will help but it's darker.

tried lower exposure and dint work

is there a way i can increase shooter speed ?

only way to increase shutter speed is to:

Increase iso level
Set fstop ti widest setting. usually 2.8



slr cams are perfect for this situation as they can run very hi iso levels and maintain good image qulity therefore making the shutter speed very fast

Yeah, the 707 can. Raise ISO, and pray you get still subjects. Or get' m when they stop.

Only increasing the iso ?

is there a way to increase shutter speed but not the iso ? :roll:
