After long time, I finally decided to buy SD700.But suddenly┬* SONY T30 introduced. And it is so beatuiful!!!I think SONY T30 Design and battery life are way better than CANON SD700is.I also believe picture quality for both are about same especially at high ISO.But not sure about movie quality for SONY T30.I heard┬* taking movie at dim light is pretty bad for SONY digital cameras. Is it true?Since, T30 is almost alike T9, please I need some reply by T9 users.sorry for my english problem^^Thanks^^

The Sony t9 is a nice camera,I have had one for about 2 months, the low light thing is just not a problem, I also have a canon sd300 it takes pictures in low light about the same as the t9, but no one says anything about it being a problem.

As with any camera use the flash and there is no problem. These small camera have a small flash so the distance is limited. I take pictures in total darkness and they look great, the camera has a focus assist lamp and the flash works well. These nuts who complain no nothing about cameras in the 1st place you have to work with them just not bitchabout every thing, and who wants a low light yellow picture anyway, use the flash and work with the limits.Picture shown here was taken in total darknesswith just flash.

In my line of work and travel, using a flash is either prohibited or not a wise idea. I use a 500EL and a Canon 30D but I would like a very small pocket camera that can give me a reasonable picture in low light. Since picture quality is very subjective, it would be nice to have some pro reviews come out before I pull the trigger on this issue.

The T-9 and T-30 are so much alike, the t-30 cost about $449.00 discounted and you can get a T-9 for about $329.00-$359.00 at a store the will really send you the camera. I havetheCanon sd 300 and 10D and youcan not go wrong with a Canon as far as I tell from the 2 I have. I really like theT-9 movies are great in day light, I have never tried at night, I do know all small digital cameras have a problem with low light at night., asI think any camera with no light source. We can't see well at night so why do people expect a camera to.Just buy what you like and use common sence about picture taking and do not listen to the people who expect to much.

I get back to the states on 8/1, leave for vacation on 8/2. Plan to have the cam shipped to my home address, back over here on 8/24. Since I can not go to a local and look, I need to make a good choice. Since I will be on the road until 8/23, returns will be difficult.Just trying to make an inteligentdecision. Thanks for your thoughts.
