I am a fire apparatus photographer who decided to buy the W-7. Not only was I impressed with the favorable reviews, I especially liked the design of this camera. Last weekI done my first set of rig shots. I used 7mp, a tripod and lighting conditions were favorable. When I got home and downloaded the images to my computer, was I ever p _ _ _ _ _! The rigs were not sharp or defined, you could not read the lettering on the doors even though it was not a distant shot. Almost muddy. My 4mp Kodak done a far better job than this.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with this model?

Thank you in advance.

I too own a W1 & it has been great. It takes excellent sharp photos. It's been one of the best Point & shoots I've used. If you having fucosing problems you could always Switch the Cameras Auto Focus Mode from Single to Monitor. I've noticed that it helps to Focus a shots much faster.
