The Sony DSC-H2 cameras have been recalled because they can not use some Sandisk Memory Sticks. See site for details:

Not a major deal.

If you don't use Sandisk cards then you don't have a problem..

If you do use them then..

Options:

Ship camera back to Sony.

Ask Sony to send you a memory stick with the patch on it.

Download the patch (<3mb), beg borrow or steal a working Sony memory stick to load the patch onto and update the camera yourself.

I believe the Firmware upgrade is now available, at sony.com

I know from other forums that Sony have actually sent out free memory cards to people who have the H2,who havecontacted Sony requesting one.
