I currently have a Sony DSC-S85 that I have had for over 4 years. Its a great camera and have taken over 14,000 photos. Last year I was looking at the Sony DSC-V3 and Canon G6. Now I am looking again and these cameras appear to be off the market and plus they have been on the market for almost 2 years.

Does anyone have any recommendations for which camera to get as a replacement? I would like to stay in the pro-consumer area, i.e. not go smaller and not a digital SLR.

Thanks for your help.

Regards, Scott

Sony R1. It has the best image quality of any non dSLR, and rivals the image quality of the best dSLR's.
