Thanks Sintares! Here's another thing to consider-when I* connect my camera to the USB outlet on the computer, I also have my battery recharger attached to my camera at the same time. I don't remember* if this was in my old manual, but perhaps this practice keeps the battery from draining and thus eliminates the need for the memory reader? Either way, you make it sound simple.

Well, I'm* happy to say that my search has come to an end.* While surfing, I found a deal on an H2 which was too good to not to take, so I took* it!

Good for you , the H2 is also an excellent camera.
