I have a DSC-w7. I have their proprietary software at home, somewhere, but not with me. Is there any other packages that allow me to see the data on my Sony camera? I would like to dowmload my images but can't find any drivers or anything on the Sony site.

Thanks.

Well, if you have a card reader you could simply take the card out of the camera and plug it into the reader and drag and drop over to the hard drive.

Or, if you are usinga computer with XP or Os X you should be able to simply set the camera to PTP mode (or some people try USB mass media mode if available ) , connect the cable from the camera to the computers usb port and that should be auto detected and opened up as a new drive.

You can then drag and drop the file over to the main drive.
