I know theres not alot of surfers that use this forum but i just couldnt resist posting this sequence of shots of my mate gettin hammered at our local break.
Take a look at the second shot, the water gets so shallow his board actually gets airbourne. I reckon its about 2-3" deep there! He phoned me the next day and we had a good laugh about it. He didnt injure himself at all but said he was picking sand out of dark places all night lol. :-):? Sorry about having to put 3 differnet post up! |

I've noticed when I do surf shots that the best surf seems to be near large groups of rocks or jettys. I know the rocks look closer because of the zoom but the rocks in the background give this a really dangerous feel.
