Not on real pond, but it reminds me the good time we had playing pond hockey

It does bring back memories, but I wish I could see the real thing.

Here are my memories:

Forty years ago, in a smallvillage on the Ottawa River, Canadiens jerseys vs. the Leafs... Richard vs. Keon. Early in the season, you could watch the fish and turtles under the ice. Then the big snows would come. An hour of shovelling before you could start the game. A small bonfire right on the ice. Skating and cheering till the sun went down. Trekking through the woods in the near dark. Hot chocolateand the smell of wet mittens and socks drying by a wood stove.
