This arena was one of the worst for lighting I have ever shot in.. They had lights that cast a bronze yellow effect yuk.. And they would not let me hang strobes ( the managment was difficult) Anyway here is one

Well actually.... My step-daughter the gymnast did live on a dairy farm so she's seen her share of bullls...
![]() BTW... talking about bad lighting... last weeks meet they opened some of the big doors... made for some intresting lighting... mix of out door lighting, which changed with the clouds, and the nice ceiling lights... ![]() |

I think that sweep blur at the bottom of the first shot adds dynamically to the emotion. I'm glad that they didn't allow you strobes cowboy, because had they allowed them I don't think that this excellent and emotional ride would have been captured so magically!
Of course I also think the guy behind the camera had quite a bit to do with it ![]() |
