Yet another newbie intro post

First off, great pan - nice blurred background, highlighting speed. So that is great! But, the angle highlights the bike and not the rider - i.e. it would be a great add for Honda racing as the bike is what's prominant. I've never shot this sport before, but I would ask if it's possible to also get a shot of the inside edge so the rider is highlighted vs. the bike. Just a question and given lens constraints or geography it might not be possible at all. Either way, I still like this phot.

thanks for the comments.

the way the track is set up you have access to either side. but it's hell to cross the track (there was only one place to cross, and it was a 3km hike to there in 45C heat). This was a fast curve, and when I found myself there I was on the outside of it rather than the inside. I also have shots from the inside, but what you end up seeing is the top of the drivers helmets as those guys really bend over in the curves.

Very good job. your timing looks good and you really got the essence of speed. Overall I rate this one
