The first two shots are particularly good. I like the reflection in the floor. It adds another dimension to the shots.
Just a minor point, our local athletic association has banned levitation, as itputs mortal players ata disadvantage against the more "gifted". :-)(actually I was just trying to compliment you on an excellnt job of freezing the action in the second shot.) Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada |

Shell, I could use those shots. I have a game to shoot tomorrow. Tell me what camera, what lense and what exposures you shot.
Thanks |

Thanks all, I use a canon 20D, ISO-800,syn speed on the 20D is 250, TV mode,al servo, evaluative metering,at this game I used my 28-135 lens, most shots were taken at 4.0-5.0, at first the pictures were coming out a lil to dark so i bumped my flash exposure up from +1 to +2.
I do think my flash isn't putting out like it should, ( 550 ex ) I just got the new 580 ex and let you know what I'll think. In the past ISO-400 and +1 on the flash would of been what I'll use, after one misty football game things haven't worked like they havein the past, at this time I think it falls in the 550 ex flash, I'll know in a few days when I shoot my first game with the 580. |
