It was in all the local news reports that a Huge swell was to arrive today and it did. I headed towards the Palos Verdes Penisula and found a place on the cliffs. There was a tree growing out of the side of the trial that headed down to the water that served as a good tripod and from there I had a great view.
Equipment used; Konica Minolta 5D, Tamron 200-500 @ 500 manual focus, ISO 100, F8, 1/500. |

And lastly, 500mm, manual focus, ISO 100, F8, 1/320. WB for all shots shade +1, PSE4, then ran it through Noiseware(free edition), thats what lost the EXIF.

Wow, that's some big surf! Nice captures. The large swell hit Hawaii a few days before you. I'll post some of the pictures that I took.
