A few miles west of where i live, at the north-western tip of the Wirral Peninsula, There is a large man made lake, which is fed gallons of seawater by the daily tides that splash over the walkway.

Here two groups of boaters are enjoying themselves. The gentle slopes of the Welsh coast are visible in the background.

Hope you enjoy. These photos have not been edited in any way.

Well, from a sports & action standpoint there isn't much going on in these.

From a general photography standpoint, the haze really hurts the background which takes up a very prominant portion of the frame. The suggestion would be to either take the photos at a different time of day (when there's less haze) or take a different style of photo. For instance isolating a single boat.

I"m quite interested in the three people with the dog walking in the background.

I always like shots with people in them to give them context.
