That is a great shot Rob!!! Awesome composition. Love the way you can see the water being disturbed by the riders knee. Bravo.

Most of the time my brolly kept us dry, ever tried to pan a 100mph target and keep your brolly over your head? LOL
i did spend a lot of time with the lens cloth. the canon didn't mind the rain nor the lens i just made sure it was not put away in the bag till it dried out overnight. did another track day yesterday, kept dry till i rode home but very dark, the only sunshine was on the dinner break. posted another shot in the "wheelie" post of a guy with metal kneepads very naughty. got him on 3 passes and posted the best. My panning is improving at 350-400/s i can get more sharp shots but iso 1600 is usable if i had a longer lens. cropping a 55mm lens shot i get more noise etc than i can live with. many thanks for the comment and encouragement, a car day tommorow so i can get more practice. forcast cloudy. and would you belive rain for the bank holiday Monday, and i'd hoped to go to a local fair with the RAF flying Bah. regards rob B |
