Is there a way to set the Canon S2IS for taking action photos? on most other brands, there is a dial or button with a runner icon that automatically chooses the fastest shutter speed for action photos (like car racing, soccer players, baseball swings, and even blowing leaves of flowers). any suggestions?
please respond tothis email address ASAP, since i am headed for vacation.

I don't have an S2, but I looked at Steve's review and there is not an Auto Sports mode on the S2. I wouldn't recommend an auto sports setting anyway. Set it for shutter priority and select a shutter speed of at least 1/500 or faster if light allows. You may need to bump your ISO up to 400 to get very high shutter speeds even in daylight.
