The bright sunlight coming from the end of the ring made some harsh shadows, but I think I still got more than a few keepers. These were all shot with my Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D and Minolta 70-210mm F/4.0 'Beercan'. These have no post processing except to reduce the size so I can post here.

One word: backgrounds

They really distract from the photos. If there is no way to position yourself so you're shooting against better backgrounds then you're going to need shallower DOF (longer lens, wider aperture) - or spend painstaking hours cleaning up the backgrounds in PP - although that's very difficult to do effectively.
