Mark, great to see someone else here shooting field hockey!!!
I've seen some Duke vids on the web so know they have a pretty serious team. You shots remind me that I need to stop being quite so lazy/comfortable and sit on the ground again rather than my stool to get a slightly better angle. Right to the shots, I like #5 best for its intensity as you can see this girls were really going for it. #7 I also like for the expression on the defensive player. You do seem to have some soft shots in there and can't tell at this size if it is processing needed (unsharp mask) or if they are not quite in focus. The ones I'm looking at are 2 and 4....... another thought is it could be the lighting as you seem to be in the unfortunate situation of having the sun the other side of the players. What body do you shoot with, I know you have the Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 and guess you were using that. Mark |

I hate harsh sun..... last weeks hockey for me was lovely as the giant softbox in the sky was there all day covering the sun.
