Hi All,

Not very happy with the results of today..... think I was a little lazy, did not take many shots and did not move enough.

These mostly have comedy value and the potential for pain!!!!

Please feel free to comment.

1. Here you see players will do anything to get a goal.

I think these are pretty good. Looking at the gear they use now, I think to myself WOW, I've been away from the game for too long. The 'Keepers' pads are wild, I remember when they were BIG and Heavy Leather wrapped pads. I don't remember wearing padded gloves nor wearing a mouth guard to play field hockey. Good pictures though, keep em coming.

The colors and saturation are great.

Even on a cloudy day!

Thanks guys. Good news got another one of my pics taken on this day in the local newspaper (that is the second time now!!!). I did not post it here as it is a celebration pic after a goal, which is a little boring but good for telling the story in the paper.

Great action shots. Several years ago, some field hockey guys got a league going in an indoor facility. Mostly Sikhs. It was interesting to watch guys in shorts and turbans slapping a little ball around with sticks.

It's a physical game. I was impressed. Is it like lacrosse, where you can hit people with the stick?

You mean a bit like the 2 pics below. I took these at a match back in Dec last year.

"No, there is no physical contact allowed (however, I might post some shots at some point when I have a collection, which suggest otherwise).
