Ok... Took my drebel to the local High School B-Ball game... Man, that place was DIM! Forgot just how dark these school gyms can be! I used both my Canon 50mm 1.8 and my Sigma 70-200 2.8. I also switched between 800 and 1600 iso. (sorry don't have the exif posted...)

Not bad a all. Practice makes perfect (I have been doing basketball shots for local newspapers since I was in high school). I prefer the shots taken on the end line because they are closer to the action. I just got my Drebel yesterday and used it on a junior high game last night. Very happy with results.

thanks for the encouragement. ![]() I would agree with the practice part... Take enough pictures of any sport and then you can start to almost anticipate... making things a whole lot easier... ![]() |
