![]() Yes manual exposure. Using AV and especially centre weighted (when you subject is out of the centre) you will get exposures changing and not correct for your subject. Yes the water will be blown out, but your subject (the rider in this case) will be correct. It's one of those situations where you can't have everything, but the face of the person in a sport is key so needs to be correct.

If you are in manual it makes no difference, the meter isn't used by the camera so don't worry about it.
