Just gotthe 1.4 extender for my Canon 70-200mm lens on Thursday. I had never took photos at a lacrosse game before (had only seen it played once) but happened upon this college clubgame on Saturday afternoon.
The ball is tiny but I am trying to practice a bit for my son'ssoccer starting this weekend. I used the Canon XSi, 70-200mm L lens with 1.4 extender. Shot using AV mode with Aperture value of 4.0 (wide open) and ISO 400 or 800 playingaround a little. Is the AV mode (4.0) appropriate for this and Soccer? I was trying to keep the shutter speed around 1/1000 as I was hand holding the camera, so with the AV mode the camera varied the speed. Any comments and suggetions are welcomed. Thanks, Andy 1. ![]() 2. ![]() 3. ![]() 4. ![]() |
