I'm new to sports photography and that day it was 22 degrees outside.

Alphie - first shot is very nice. Just crop it down a little tighter by bringing the upper right corner in. Nice action.
#2 is pretty good - I like the inclusion of the blockers - but you might try some dodging of the runner's face - it's a little shadowed. 3 is nice action but it's all backs - an unfortunate thing with sports shooting. From the other sideline this would be a really nice shot. And each of these is a bit off center - look at the fence - both the vertical and horizontal lines are off - a lot of times a hill will make the horizontal lines slant but the vertical lines of trees and posts are usually realiable for determining whether the shot is level. Good news is - it's extremely easy to fix. Just add that step to your Post processing workflow - whenever you crop, fix the level For your first time you did really well. These are nice and sharp and the colors are good ![]() |

Thank you so much for the comments and pointers. I will definitely keep that in mind when I shoot the next flag football game. :-)
