I saw these fitness instructors in the midst of their kick-boxing routine and knew that I wanted to capture 'on film' a sense of the speed and energy I was witnessing. Most of the images I felt were either too blurred or missing an element of symmetry. This one was just about perfect, with the instructor in the foreground in focus. What I didn't notice at the time was the individual crouched below and behind. I looked again at all the shots I took over the five or so minutes I was taking pictures. In each of them he was there! I don't know if he was a staff member or just an individual who had decided to watch this demonstration from a closer vantage point, but he certainly had the best seat in the house.
