Colin,

Like the colors in 2. Nice sharp focus.

#4 is also a nice capture - nice timing - a tad soft though.

In 3 and 5, nice action but the shots are way too soft (in 5 you can tell it's front focused as the ball is more in focus than the players).

Shot 1-looks like a backfocus (goal is more in focus than player) andcould have benefitted from a better shutter speed. Strangely enough I can't see the ISO in your EXIF, but 1/400 is a bit slow. So unless you were at ISO 800 or above I'd recommend higher ISO. Also face is overexposed - this is the problem with AV mode - the black kit caused the camera to set a slower shutter than necessarycombined with him looking up so the face was more illuminated.

John

sorry for taking so long to reply, thanks again for the advice , i will try this week without the tele converter to see if i can get them a bit sharper as its another evening game, dont know why the iso isnt showing on the exif?, but it was at 400, will trya higher iso this week and try centre point focus rather than the whole area focus and see how that works, once again tour comments are apprieciated.
