Cant wait to try out my 70-200 2.8 this year! Here's a couple from Try-outs.

Ah the excitement of a new season..... always a good thing!!!

In the first shot I would suggest getting a little lower so you are not shooting down on the player, for field sports I try always to sit on a stool or the ground where possible as it gives a much more pleasing angle. However the timing is great so with that tweak yourshots this year are going to work out well.

As for the second one, the angle is a lot better but with not being able to see the face there is not a lot of story here. About a second later when he driving up and starting to run would probably work better, or as his head is lifted before he pushes off.

Now I've just noticed a photo that might not be being displayed so where I've said first and second that could be wrong depending on what you have posted.

Looking forward to seeing your work in the new season with the 2.8.

Thanks for the tips Mark, points well taken, as always. The 2nd shot is what we call a "bear crawl" where the boys crawl on hands and feet for 10yds. As you may imagine a difficult feat for the larger linemen.
