Nice shot.
There seem to be a lot of football (sorry, 'soccer') photos from the States at the moment. Is it becoming a more popular sport now then? |

In the state of Maine our soccer high school soccer season is about to end. The state championship games are on November 5.That is probably true in other areas so that is the reason. We will have about a month layoff and basketball will start.

Thats an awesome shot!
Odd that you picked ISO400 versus ISO100. -- Terry |

Great shot. But, a little lese noise reduction would improve it. The grass really suffers from it and ths skin is too smooth. But I love the composition!

Terry,
I think that comes from all the 400 ISO film I used. That was my choice of speed for a lot of years and still use it today. No real reason beyond that :-)Thanks. John, Thanks, those are good suggestions well worth keep in the back of my mind for next time. Phil |

Would like to see the original before noise reduction. At ISO 400 noise should not even be a problem. The noise reduction has really butchered this shot.

Ok, here it is without noise filtering. Thanks for the comments!

Yep - huge difference. Stick with the original (without NR) - it looks great!
