I was fortunate enough to get great seats for yesterdays Jets vs. Texans game at Giants Stadium. First time using the A75 for sports shots and I think I learned a lot - the bad part is I learned after I took all my shots and looked at them at home on my large LCD - jezz what looks good on a small 1.8-inch screen doesn't mean anything. I also heard time and again not to use digital zoom, in theory I know and agree with it but I used it a bit too much and shots that would have otherwise turned out nice and sharp albeit with a wider view turned out a bit out of focus looking. All in all great game but a bit disappointing on the photography side. Any comments would be appreciated.
Sam BTW- "Professional" photography equipment isn't allowed in the stadium. Has anyone successfully brought in say a 20D or equivalent and a big old zoom lens in any sports stadium? |
