Taken with a Canon Rebel XT, Canon 18-55mm lens or Sigma 70-300mm lens.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The only thing I was not happy about was the performance of my Sigma lens. I noticed at full zoom it was not focusing very sharply from about 225mm to 300mm. I had planned to use a new Tamron lens but grabbed the Sigma which is several years old and showing its wear and tear. It has been a good lens but is worn out and is now retired. |

Nice shots. I missed our local air show this year. I have a question about your first photo. Were you using the 70-300mm lens? I notice some spots on the top left hand side of the photo. I have had problems with the same lens. I was thinking there was something on my sensor, but the location of the spots compared to yours are about the same location. Maybe its the lens? |

That was the 18-55mm lens and the spots were my fault for not cleaning the lens after using it the day before. First day of the arishow it rained in the morning and I forgot to clean it. Guess I was too excited about a sunny second day. Thanks for the compliments. More photos of this years airshow can be seen at:
