Takingdecent photos in the gymnasium without a flash became frustrating with the kit lenses, so I broke down and bought an OLY 50mm, F2.0 for my E-500for $400+. I'm a newer photographer, and photographing my grandkids is a lot of fun; I attached one of those photos which is certainly an improvement for me. No zoom capability, but I can get close to the court, use a tripod or monopod....shot this one in shutter priority, tweaked with elements 3. I wish I was better using the continuous autofocus, but that may come with practice. Good luck to those who share the same problems. Bob.

I like this photo! The subjects of interest are focused and clear and what gave me a chuckle is the girl in white behind her team mate holding back the opposition!! Good shot.

A double pick! Nice job, just crop out the girl in the foreground and youve captured a great moment in time.

Very cool.

Looks a little overexposed.

Maybe darken it a little in Elements.

Have you thought of shooting RAW format?

Then edit using RAWSHOOTER (PC) or IPHOTO (Mac).

Good luck!
