I agree - great shots.
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"What flash did you use and on what setting? Do you use an external battery pack? style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Nice job of cleaning up the eyes - the faces look very good! |

Thanks John,Iuse a Canon 580 EX with a Quantum Turbo 2x2 battery pack most of the time, at this game I didn't use the pack as it rained on and off most of the game.

Shell,
Do you use your flash in ETTL or Manual? If manual, what power level? I'm probably going to be experimenting more with flash this year and it's always helpful to have a recommendation going in. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Shell,
Those are some great shots! Nice work! I think that I am all about getting that flash after seeing what you did. I agree with John hearing some feedback on manual etc...would be good to know. Tammie |

John, I use ETTL. either on 0 or +1, When you boost your flash output
you do have to be careful not to blow out your subjects. Also as I stated before I shoot at ISO 800. The problem with shooting night sports with flash is the "glow eye" - Not red eye. Sometimes they aren't to bad to clean up, other times it can be a REAL challange!! Thanks for your replies! |
