It's me, Terry.

LOL... I was going to say that it had a very similar look to a lot of your shots..... now I know why..... anyway, my comment stands..... keep on posting..... lol!!!!

Did you have a look atmy results from the dive comp yesterday?

Yup, they look good.

I do worry about the KM 5D at ISO3200.

Seems to be a little more noise at ISO3200 than the 20D.

Yep.... but also cost a lot less (would love to be able to afford better). It was the only way I could get close to freezing the divers.

Yah that's cool.

Therre's a lot of equipment I can't afford or justify.

Gives us something to dream about!

You're telling me...... my keyboard is often covered in drewl seeing what is out there!!!!! My wish list currently includes a 24-70 f2.8 with IF so that I can use filters, a portable backup/photo viewer/macro extension tubes/backpack style bag/1.4x teleconverter...... I think that is about it for now!!!! OK and a better body (wonder what Sony are going to bring out for Minolta lenses?) What about you?

Oh, eventually I'd like to upgrade the 20D, but it will have to be something about 18-24mp's, and great dynamic range, for under 2 grand (US dollars).

I'd also like to get a Canon 100-400 telephoto and perhaps an 80-90mm macro.

Maybe a 70-200 F2.8 to replace my F4, but that's a long way off.

I wouldn't doubt the Chinese will start producing some rock solid optics at rock bottom prices.

The Chinese have already turned the telescope industry upside down with their cheap but high quality apochromatic scopes.

Its just a matter of time before the Chinese start selling near "L" quality lens for $200-1000, equivalent to the Canon "L" $1,000-$6,000 lenses.

LOL! :G Since we're dreaming here, I thought I'd add my dream list to this thread too. Actually for now, there's only one on my list...I would like to have the

Minolta AF 70-200 f/2.8 Apo G(D) SSM.

Mark, I think you will like this lens for your 5D too.
