![]() ![]() ![]() Would like some advise how to improve shots. I know the ball is missing in the first one, more interested in the quality of the shots. |

Good sharpness and color. Looks like you have decent lighting where you are shooting, so that's a big help.
#1. You said it, without the ball and with her arm cut off, it's not a very interesting shot. If you have the ability, increase your aperture (lower f#) to make the subject stand out even more and minimize distracting backgrounds. The ability to accomplish this would depend on the length of the lens your are using, of course.. #2. Good shot - good timing. I'd try to frame a bit tighter to remove the libero from the left side of the shot to reduce the distraction (since you are already cutting off her leg) - like this: ![]() |

Thanks for the advise, the shots were taken with a Canon 20D and a Sigma 70-200 2.8.
The setting were 1600 iso, at 2.8 |
